I decided to build a FPV racer from the Blackout Mini H frame (http://minihquad.com) and try to document my build as I progress.

The Blackout Mini H Quad is a low weight Mini Sport FPV Quadcopter frame. I like this frame because it’s durable, clean and small. It comes with a power distribution board built into the baseplate so you don’t have to have cable running along side the board to a central PDB. It has been tested and seems to be unbreakable. blackout_mini_h_quad_-_build_manual_-_036

It also has an integrated antenna mount which protect the transmitter from harm when you crash.

I used the version 2 frame which weigh 123 grams with the anti-vibration camera mount. The frame material is 3k Weave Carbon Fiber which makes it really tuff.

The size of the quad is 220mm diagonally, 175mm wide, 130mm long motor-to-motor; about 1/2 the size of a regular quadcopter. I have bought the bigger arms so I can use both 6″ propellers and standard 5″.
